These are unprecedented times and it has meant us to change the way we do certain things within the pub. We would ask for your patience and help so we can achieve a safe environment following the rules as laid out by the government. If you feel ill, or have any symptoms of the virus (new, continuous cough, high temperature, or a loss of taste or smell) we wish you well and look forward to seeing you when you are feeling better. Thank you.
The porchway door which has been used as the main entrance
for many years has now become the EXIT and all arriving customers must ENTER
the building by the furthest door past the porch.
Face coverings must be worn at all times when inside the pub
unless seated at your allocated table (this includes trips to the toilets).
When entering the pub please use the sanitiser available on
your left and wait to be greeted. You will then be taken to your allocated table
If you have a table booked : - The waitress will take you to the table with your name on along with the food and drink menus. A waitress will come and take
your order accordingly.
If you do not have a table booked : - You will be advised on whether a table is available if it is, you will be taken to the table which will have a food and drinks menu on it, a
waitress will come and take your order and you will be required to fill in a small
form for track and trace.
If there is anything you need please do not hesitate to ask
a member of staff once seated.
You are only allowed to eat indoors with members of your own household but outdoors the rule of 6 is allowed, and can be mixed households.
As we operate table service only the bar is non accessible
to customers.
We would like to point out that children are the
responsibility of the customers who accompany them, and that they ensure they
are respecting the social distancing rules.
The toilets will operate a one in and one out system with
sanitising available before and within.
Hand sanitising will be available outside and inside. All
staff will be following strict cleaning procedures.
We would appreciate card payments only.
Our garden is laid out in a way that we feel is safe and
would ask that no furniture is moved from its original location. The rule of 6 per table is applicable outside and intermingling is against guidelines.
